User Review Guidelines
Members should take all the reviews posted on Salon Blabbermouth as individual, and highly subjective, opinions. The opinions expressed in reviews are those of Salon Blabbermouth members and not of Salon Blabbermouth.com. We do not endorse any of the opinions expressed by reviewers nor the management responses, nor are we affiliated with any establishment listed or reviewed on this web site. Salon Blabbermouth reserves the right to remove a review or management response for any reason. All member reviews must follow Salon Blabbermouth's guidelines. We will not publish a review unless it is:
Be Family-friendly
No profanity, threats, prejudiced comments, hate speech or other non-family-friendly content. No graphic reports of violent criminal activity or participation in drug-related activity. We have installed profanity filters to facilitate language control. If you find certain words offensive and like to add them to our filter please email us at staff@salonblabbermouth.com
Be Unique and independent
We allow unlimited reviews per person on any given salon. All reviews must independent of each other and not duplicate.
Be Original
No quoted material from other sources, no material published elsewhere, including other salon review sites.
Write from the user’s point of view
Reviews must be based on a first-hand experience. No hearsay* including rumors, quotations from other sources or the reported opinions or experiences of others -- just individual customer opinions and/or customer service related experiences. We do not allow reviews to be written based on an owner's incentive.
Note: Hearsay is unverified information heard or received from another.
Be Relevant to other users
No personally insulting language or descriptions, no smear campaigns and no content that is irrelevant and unhelpful to salon customers. No reviews about an experience that happened more than two years ago. We are not a forum for general political, ethical or religious opinions. We will not post questions or comments directed to, or about, Salon Blabbermouth staff or other Salon Blabbermouth members. To discuss topics please visit the forum.
Submit reviews for appropriate salons
Reviews must be for salons that meets our listing criteria. At this time, Salon Blabbermouth lists all known establishments that manage tanning, beauty, hair, nail, day spas, barbershops, but not limited to, private salons, commercial salons, small salons, big salons, etc.
No unauthorized commercial use
No commercial e-mail addresses or contact information is allowed in the reviews. No promotional material of any kind may be included in the review. We reserve the right to reject any URL for any reason. If you like to advertise with salon blabbermouth please read our advertising program.
Write with standard e-mail etiquette
Please follow standard etiquette when writing your review. Do not use ALL CAPS, excessive typographic symbols, HTML tags, or slang. Most text and paragraph formatting, including lists, will not appear in traveler reviews.
Register using a valid e-mail address
We may need to contact you if there is a problem with your review, so the e-mail address associated with your account needs to be correct. No fake e-mail addresses, please.
Do not post personal information
Under no circumstance should you post personal information. The includes by not limited to (Name, Address, Phone Number, email, place of employment, children’s names, Social Security Numbers, Driver’s License numbers, etc). You are responsible for the content you post. Please review the terms of service agreement for further information.
Do not upload anything that isn't yours
This includes other people's reviews or photos you've collected from around the Internet.
Do not post nude photos
the ability to add photos is used to enhance the review. Nude photos of any kind are prohibited and may result in termination of membership. Be mindful the pictures your post.
